Like all other ‘Life’ Nature Conservation Projects, the “Pianura Parmense” Project comprises preparatory activities (A), land purchasing activities (B), concrete actions (C), awareness raising and dissemination of results (D), and project management activities (E).

Preparatory activities

B1 Purchase of a woodland area

C3 Intervention to regulate access to Kingfisher, Sand Martin and Bee-Eater nesting sites
C4 Expansion and restoration of a marshy area
C5 Installation of nests for the Lesser Kestrel and the Red-footed Falcon
C6 Restoration of the Lorno canal to a favourable conservation status.
