The Local Conservation Group for LIPU Parma consists of volunteers who monitor the avifauna in the IBA (Important Birds Area) and is cooperating in the “Pianura Parmense” LIFE Project.
Volunteer work involves taking censuses of the Heron colonies, and also of Lesser Kestrel, Red-footed Falcon, Red-Backed Strike and Lesser Grey Strike nests.
